Too lazy to clean out my day's catch, I tied the stringer to my tacklebox. Later, I was startled to hear the tacklebox being dragged across the limestone rock by a heron. I quickly frightened the heron away in fear of him swallowing the fish - stringer and all. Lesson learned!
